Mod Descripton:

This mod adds 75 alchemical ingredients from
Morrowind to the Oblivion world. This includes
ingredients from the Tribunal and Bloodmoon
expansions. In the initial release of MWI the
ingredients were “virtual” ingredients in that
while they had unique icons for the inventory
screen, in-game they “borrowed” the meshes from
the OB ingredients. Subsequent versions of MWI
saw the addition of new meshes for some of the
Morrowind ingredients. With Version 1.5 all of
the ingredients now have their own unique mesh.

The alchemical properties of the Morrowind
ingredients match the properties they had in
Morrowind. However, several of the original
properties, such as levitation, are not available
in Oblivion. For those I have substituted a
Fortify Skill property appropriate for the old
Morrowind property. Below is a listing of such
properties:

Morrowind Property / Oblivion Property
Blind / Burden
Detect Enchantment / Fortify Mysticism
Detect Key / Fortify Mysticism
Fortify Attack / Fortify Athletics
Levitation / Fortify Alteration
Telekinesis / Fortify Mysticism
Swift Swim / Fortify Athletics

In addition, some of the alchemical properties for
a few of the ingredients have been adjusted so
that there will be a least two MW ingredients with
the same effect.

I have adjusted the prices of the Morrowind
ingredients to reflect that they are "imported
goods" and in keeping with the Oblivion pricing
structure. The weights have also been adjusted to
match Oblivion "standards".

The Morrowind ingredients can be found for sale by
the alchemists in the game. Of the alchemist
shops The Main Ingredient in the Imperial City
will offer the largest selection of the Morrowind
ingredients. Food vendors throughout Tamriel may
have food from Morrowind available for sale from
time to time as well. The food items are as
follows:

Ash Yam
Durzog meat
Kwama cuttle
Kwama egg
Marshmerrow
Nix-hound meat
Saltrice
Scuttle
Scrib Cabbage
Scrib Jelly
Scrib Jerky

All of the MW food ingredients have been given a
positive first effect.

The Morrowind ingredients can be found as loot as
well. I have add them to the following leveled
lists:

Finally, there is Moonsugar. As an illegal
substance in the Empire it is not offered for sale
by any of the alchemists. Moonsugar is only found
as loot.

Included is a version of Morrowind Ingredients for
users of Martigen's Monster Mod (MMM). This
version changes the Guar Hide drop from Guar to an
alchemical ingredient rather than a miscellaneous
item.

I have also included three Excel workbooks to
assist players in sorting and finding ingredients
for potions:

OB Alchemy - lists all of the Oblivion ingredients

MW Alchemy - lists all of the Morrowind
ingredients from MWI
Tamriel Alchemy* - combines both of the above
lists

Each of these workbooks has seven spreadsheets:

Ingredients
Restoration Potions
Resistance Potions
Fortifying Potions
Alteration Potions
Poisons
Notes & Formulas

The Ingredient spreadsheets have the ingredients
listed in alphabetical order with each of their
effects listed in four columns that have an
auto-filter that can be used to sort the
ingredients by effect. For those unfamiliar with
the functions of Excel, to use the sorting
function simply left click on the small black
arrows next to the column headers. A drop menu
will appear. Select the effect you wish to sort
for. Each of the effects has been color coded to
match the five groups of potions and poisons. The
poison and four potion spreadsheets list all of
the possible single effect potions and poisons,
and the ingredients needed to make them.
Ingredients on these spreadsheets have been color
coded to indicate the alchemy level that the
Player must obtain in order to use the ingredient
for that effect. The last spreadsheet is blank
and is included so that players can record their
notes and their own special potion formulas.

* includes the five shelf mushrooms from my Qarl's
Harvest Add-on mod and the ingredients from the
Shivering Isles expansion.

Note
~~~~~
For the cells in which I have added "displays" of
the MW ingredients I have only added items to
these cells and not made any alterations of the
existing statics, etc. to avoid any potential
doubling issues with your saved games.  Also, I
have kept the original esp file name for this mod
through all of its versions so that it won't
conflict/remove with any existing inventory items
in saved games for users of previous versions.
