Mod Descripton:
This plugin is not a "plugin" at all, as it uses
no .esp, but rather directly replaces the Azura
Statue and creature with newer updated versions.
Playing this mod is as simple as installation (as
by installing the folders in the correct location,
the Azura statue and creature will be replaced by
my versions).
Why did I make these replacers? Well the answer
is simple; with all of the updates of heads and
bodies for player characters, it stood to reason
that the deities of Morrowind should have
facelifts as well (to keep up with the updated
player characters). Also, this was created out of
personal taste, as I wanted a new look for Azura
(who looked more like a dowager grandmother rather
than a Goddess [again, this is just my personal
take on the matter])
If the mod proves not to be to your liking, then
installation is as simple as removing the files
that this mod adds to the game's Meshes folder.
The files for the statue are located in the "x"
folder and is named Ex_DAE_Azura. So to remove
the altered statue from the game, simply delete
this .nif from the "x" folder. The Azura creature
is located in the "r" folder. To remove it from
your game you must delete the following files from
the "r" folder: Azura and the two xAzura files.
Once these are removed, the game will then read
the original files
from the Morrowind BSA file. The textures I have
included in this mod do not need to be removed for
the game to revert to the original Azuras, as
these textures will not conflict with the original
textures.
Just drag and drop these onto the data files
folder in your Morrowind directory and they will
go where they are meant to go (except the readme).
All the files are placed inside folders as
marked. In other words, place the included Meshes
and Textures folder in your games Data Files
folder.
(become familiar with manual installations, your
game will thank you for it)
The included Screen Shots folder is just for your
use (so as to know what the changes look like).
It is not needed for play.
Also included in this mod is a folder labeled
"XTRAS"Inside this folder are the optional files
for alternate statues:
-Folder 1- A Rusty Purple/Red Statue (akin to the
original colouring of the Daedric Prince
Statues)
-Folder 2- A Shiny Silver Reflection Mapped Statue
-Folder 3- A Shiny Gold Reflection Mapped Statue
To install one of these is the same as above, as
inside each of these folders is a Meshes folder
that contains the proper files to replace the in
game statue. Pick a folder (1,2, or3) and open
it. Then take the Meshes folder therin and place
it in your games Data Files folder. You will be
promted to overwrite (should you do this
correctly). Once you do, the alternate statue will
be ready for your viewing pleasure in game :).
Screen Shots are included in this download for
reference, or also refer to this
thread at ESF/BGSF for screenshot links and
